Zahira College is pleased to announce that the Founders’ Day Oration 2024 will be delivered by the distinguished Professor Dr. M.S.M. Anes, former Head of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Peradeniya.

Professor Anes will speak on the topic, ‘Muslim Fine Arts Heritage and its Influence in Sri Lanka: A Study Focused on the Contribution of Zahira College, Colombo’. His insightful exploration of the rich cultural heritage and artistic contributions of the Muslim community, with a special focus on Zahira College’s role, promises to be an enlightening session.

The oration will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the college’s Abdul Ghafoor Hall at 4.00pm.
